We Are Loving: Apps for Kids
Did you know that half of kids under 8 (and 40% of 2 to 4-year-olds) have access to a mobile device? (source)
With kids spending so much time in front of the screen we are loving the mobile apps that turn everyday activities into a mobile games for kids.
Here are a couple of our favorites:
Diy.org was created to give kids an outlet to share their art. Kids can sign up with a “nickname” and cartoon avatar and upload photos of their favorite artwork from a mobile phone. Better yet, family and friends can check out their portfolio and leave them stickers to show them how awesome their artwork is.
Chore Monster turns everyday chores into a fun game that allows kids to earn points, rewards and unlockable monsters for helping around the house.
